19. eSnips

I chose eSnips from the list to check out. eSnips is a site where you can share all kinds of digital media: photographs, video, documents, music, flash files, and stuff that you found on the web. It allows you to adjust the privacy settings, so you control what can be seen by whom. Each folder that you create can have a different privacy setting.

I think this is a good site if you do a lot of photo and video sharing because you can post both in one place and anyone can access it. Libraries could use this to share photos and video clips from programs or to give a virtual tour.

  1. I did not. The only digital media I am currently storing is photographs and I have not had time to organize them. They are still sitting on my desktop taking up space.
